Martins Ferry City Pool (6 lane; 25 meter pool; 12 foot diving block end depth with 5 foot turn end)

Pool is equipped with Colorado “Dolphin” Semi-Automatic Timing System

Entries:

Each swimmer may compete in a total of 3 individual events and 2 relays for a total of 5 events.

Entry Fees:

$4 per individual event--the team will pay for relays. The coaches will determine the relays based on swimmers entered. Please make check out to "Thompson Park Dolphins".

Awards:

Individual awards will be given for 1 st -6 th place. 

High-Point awards will be given to top boy and girl swimmers in each age group. 

Team awards will be given for 1 st -3 rd place. 

Scoring:

Scoring will be to 6 places for each age group 

Individual Events: 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 

Relay Events: 14, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2

Age as of date is June 1st 

Relays:

Relays for 10 and under and 11 and over will be swum as open events. 10 and under relay swimmers will be allowed to “swim-up” as long

as they do not exceed the entry limit.

Timers/Officials:

Each team will be assigned at least 1 lane to provide timers throughout the day. Lane assignments for timers will be given at a later

date. Please have your volunteers report to the blocks prior to the start of the meet for a meeting.

We may also ask each team to provide a stroke and turn judge.
